If you know the name Ann Cobb and you know her work, you know what a great digitizer she was. If you don't know the name Ann Cobb, you missed the best!
Ann was a founder of the original chat group for home embroidery and has been around since the very first home digitizing craze. She taught many of us so much back then!
Ann has since retired but her fonts will live on! She has generously given us permission to convert all 91 sets of alphabets to the BX format for use with Embrilliance Software and partnered with us to sell them to you at a very reasonable price.
What is a BX Font? Until the Embrilliance software came along, to get great digitized lettering, each letter had its own individual file and to spell something out, you had to bring each letter in and line them up and space them manually.
BX fonts are keyboard fonts! You simply type the words and they send each of the digitized files into the software perfectly lined up and ready to stitch. They work with Essentials, which is one of the pieces of the Embrilliance suite. Embrilliance is the piece that allows you to bring in designs, and lettering to combine and create the look you want.
You can view and purchase Essentials by clicking on this link:
The Ann Cobb BX Fonts are purchased right here! They are a downloadable file but can take a few hours before they are available to you. You will be notified by email with instructions for downloading them. Then you simply open your Embrilliance program and Windows Explorer side by side and select each BX font by clicking the first file and hold the shift key down and select the last file. Drag them on to the Embrilliance screen and they are automatically installed!
