The Glitterflex® Ultra is a stunning glitter product that has a very high demand.  It is one of our most popular products. It has an easy-to-use sticky carrier, which makes weeding a snap. It has actual polyester glitter flakes encased in a high quality heat sealing adhesive, which also allows it to be sublimated onto, creating endless design possibilities.

Application Instructions
Adheres to Cotton, Uncoated Polyester, Fabric Blends, Wool, Linen
*Cut this material in mirror image
*330 - 335 Farenheit
*Firm even pressure
*17-20 seconds
*Peel warm, use Teflon Sheet and repress for 2 seconds
*Wash inside out, wash cool, tumble dry

*I have used a regular home iron with good results.  Use the wool setting.

*GlitterFlex does not have to be used with embroidery.  It is perfect all by itself and when applied properly will outlast the life of the shirt.  It will not fray and therefore, can be applied all by itself.

When using as an embroidery applique fabric, GlitterFlex can either be
1...Cut with a silhouette or other cutting device.  After weeding the excess away, place the cut piece in the area that the placement stitches layed out for you, iron IN THE HOOP...do not take embroidery out of the hoop, then peel off the carrier sheet and continue with the next step in the embroidery process.
2.  OR...if no cutter is available, simply
1.  stitch the placement stitches,
2.  cut a piece of GlitterFlex slightly larger than the area to be covered
3.  peel off the carrier sheet (clear sheet that it is adhered to)
4.  place over the placement stitches
5.  stitch the tack down stitches, cut away the excess GlitterFlex
6.  lightly press the GlitterFlex in the hoop
7.  continue with the embroidery process
In other words, treat the GlitterFlex as you would any fabric used in applique, but press it before continuing.   

Please note: If material starts to separate from the carrier, smooth it back down before cutting.

Instructions for application to moisture-wicking materials:
Damp a cloth with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol), then rub it into the area on the garment you want to apply your design.  Allow it to dry and apply your material.  This will allow better adhesion to the garment.

Instructions for application to dazzle cloth and shiny polyester:
We highly recommend that you TEST prior to doing large runs.  Coated polyester can routinely cause adhesion issues.
